Claims to try and be from BT and that a hack has occurred on the line.
This number rang yesterday while I was out and left no message. Rang twice so far today and no one is there when I pick up.
Yesterday and today, the number rang my phone three times and it was only 11am when I answered it. After several minutes, they hung up. It's a pity they have nothing better to do than harass people in this way.
Calls with no answer become a pain.
Caller says they are from BT and that their internet connection has been "compromised." I hung up and spoke with BT, this call did not come from them. SCAM, block the number!
Just called and hung up when I answered.
I called in the afternoon and they hung up once I answered.
Claimed to be John Wilson, with a very strong Indian accent, from "the BT technical department," said all my internet devices had been infected with a foreign IP address and he needed to fix the problem.
