Called two days in a row, same time slot to an elderly infirm person who struggled to answer but not in time, so no idea what they are up to.
Claims that Virgin Media is wanting to discuss amendments to my package! Called multiple times on my mobile, that is not even registered with Virgin or on my account - AVOID if you want to speak to them.
I only wanted to play games, but somehow I got here.

A person suggesting we upgrade our gadget guarantee cover which we have never had & never will. Telephone puts down. These calls are more than irritating & intrusive, always disregard them & then block.
I am from my bank and they advised me that they had suspended my account due to money being sent from my bank account of £500 and to just hit option. I would like to talk to them about this.
Telephoning from India, said they were from O2, and I blocked it as this is the third ring today I've had from numbers impersonating companies.
This numbers advised me that a foreign Western Union account had submitted a request for £600. They had blocked the transfer & I should press one to connect to them. I hung up.

I am sick & tired of these people who are constantly intruding into our lives with scams of all kinds, whenever the fancy takes them. They are really bad & should be prosecuted. When is the united kingdom government going to act against these villains???? Definitely DANGEROUS.
After telling myself my internet had been hacked and that my provider had the incorrect provider, I began to worry about a potential scam.
Telephoning with a foreign accent, the speaker said that it was a BT call, and replied that it sounded like a scammer. However, the call did not proceed.
It seemed like a scam when a bizzare call came in from a unknown number. The person speaking English and Asian type was on the other end.
Another person called from someone they know nothing aboutpossibly with some fault with their computer or other telesales scam. I've had loads from those that change numbers every time you don't answer it. This is one of them.
