I received a call at 2:46 on August 30th from someone claiming to be from BT regarding my Internet service. I hung up because I knew it was a scam.
I received a call from someone claiming to be from BT. They asked me if my BT internet was running smoothly. I hung up. Always telephone your provider directly if you have any queries or issues.
It's about time the telephone companies jumped on them, I'm sick of these calls.
Lucy from Major Service Provider BT said the pc was badly infected with many viruses!!! Told her I would call BT direct. They were not happy (Darina).
The person on the phone, who sounded Asian, said they were calling on behalf of Talk Talk internet provider. They asked if I was the main user and I said no. They asked to talk to the main user and I said that was not possible. They hung up.
