These people are complete scammers. I called them after a virus popup window threatened that my hard drive would be erased if I didn't call these thieves. They pretended to be from Microsoft Support, which is a lie. They want money to fix it, and they stole my money (Marcedes).
This is a scam. They are trying to frighten you into calling the numbers to which they will then offer to fix after you give them your credit card details. Do not call. Unplug from network & then clear your internet cache.
This number appears on some web pages as malware. It says to call Microsoft to fix your computer, and the number is toll free. However, if you call it, you will be charged a lot.
This number is a scam. My father got a pop-up on his computer from them claiming to be Microsoft IT support and saying he had to call the number to get rid of a virus. The ring seemed to go through to India, and he was scammed.
