House Protect, a trading name of Home Protection Services UK Ltd, tried to scammer my octogenarian father that they had an expiring annoyance call preventon plan with them that was due for renewal at £149.99 or cancel, which would also cost £149.99. My father is vulnerable as they is under a lot of stress caring for my mother, who suffers from dementia, & they eventually browbeat, bullied, or talked my father into a claiming of submission, whereby they agreed to pay the £149.99 fee for cancellat
they just ask myself my registered email address with ACCA & my date of birth, & they said I am going to take any exam in December 2017 or not, I said no, i am going to take next in March 2018, & they replied, the last date will be 30 November 2017 for it, that it,
scammer telephoner state I have unsecured debts... asked where they had got my numbers so they hang up! Called 3 to report the numbers as being inappropriately used for criminal activities. Advised that they could do nothing without my calling 999 & getting a criminal number!!! Unbelievable! A simple check on google shows huge volume of complaints about this number... suggest 3 get their act together in assisting / protecting their customers.
supposedly that you have asked for info towards the financial market & other kind of lies to get you to "fillup additional information". When confronted they insist on telling you that you're the person that filledup the data even though you've never had, nor anyone in your house, did such a thing. It is a form of gaslighting & therefore I believe it's a scammer as well.
I answered the ring explaining that I was at work & could not take the ring as I work in a hospital. I answered the ring as I was expecting an urgent important ring from a numbers I would not know. Very persistent I asked would they be able to take a ring if I phoned them at work they answered Yes of course. myself thinks that is a little pretend as I have worked in ring centres & doing this would end up with trouble.
Asian-sounding chap told myself my internet was going to be switched off. I said I did not believe him, & that this was a scam. they then threatened to turn it off there & then, at which point I put the telephone down & blocked further call from this number.
persistent, have been second day by this numbers trying to gain info by asking you to confirm their statements I truly believe this to be at the least harassment leading to a CON I am registered with the phone preference Service, clearly ignoring this device ????????
SCAM. foreign ring centre agents calling to electricity company suppliers customers putting on to be from UK tarriff advisory services. Harrassing people by telling them they will be paying penality if they do not switch. They have all customers personal info like date of birth, full address, mode of money sent & supplier.
