putting on to be AJB Global please note the genuine company is based in Woking & not London where they are registered with Accountant office. He's offering people escrow deposit settlement recalled for 10% fee to obtain your bank account details.
An oriental sounding person said they was from Virgin Media offering speeds of 100Mbps in my area. they had an old address for me, which I corrected. After promising to dispatch a survey team around next day to confirm the deal, they wanted my bank numbers & sort code!! I said "You must be joking" & ended the call. I did 1471 & researched this number, which proved to be dubious. When I dialled it, got N/U tone.
Fraud: purporting to be from Financial services compensation authority ???????????????????????????????????????????? giving double youve been defrauded or £100,000 no questions asked, immediate transfer... But need your bank details ???????????????????????? are we really that stupid?
BEWARE!! This is a scammer number!! Introduced themselves as: "This is your bank!" without giving the name of the bank!! I was informed that 2 large transactions had been made on my credit card. Checked with my bank, & no such transaction had taken place!!
This numbers was used in ring putting on to be my daughter needing almost £2000 luckily I caught on quite quickly & did not loose any money. Have to say conversations on Watsap were very genuine but I have all bank details to which they wanted money to be transferred & made them aware I had has reported all details. Hope this helps someone else stay safe.
scammer "Visa / Mastercard" - clearly not ! Said £600.00 charge on my account from abroad. Sounded like an foreign ring Centre scammer operation. Wanted my bank account details so they could stop the charge going through - how kind of them - but didn't know what bank ! Kept them on the phoneline for a few minutes so 1 less person they can scammer today before letting on that I knew they were scammers !
Vanquis Bank are sneaky & use lots of different phone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the phone numbers that they use below. If you answer call from these numbers you may be charged for arrears Management so buy a BT8500 & stop all of these call easily. Also, my advice is not to take up credit or accept a credit cards from Vanquis Bank as they are extremely aggressive in their arrears collection. Do the research & see how unhappy people
American sounding person voice on recording. claim to be from a bank but didn't register which one. Stated there were 2 unusual recent payments on my account (one to Paypal, can't remember other) & wanting to check if genuine. Instructions given as to further action but by then I had decided it was a scam, so hang up.

I was contacted regarding investment opportunities by 3rd party. I was then called by 02038835988 by a person claims from Citibank UK in Lewisham, inviting myself to open an account with Citibank with a view to buying a minimum of £10,000 of united kingdom government bonds at a fixed interest rate of 5%. I said I'd think about it, & tried to contact Citibank to confirm his credentials. I was told they had worked at Citibank & must have left! I declined the offer & told him not to ring again.
This is definitely a scammer number. claim that my prime account (which I do not have) with Amazon was due to take a large money sent from my bank account unless I did something about it. I have met such supposedly before - the next thing that would happen is that they would want my account details & probably try to get remote control of my computer.
I received a SMS message from this numbers saying "LLOYDSBANK: Confirmation you set up a new recipient on 07/10 at 19:32:52 from your A/C. If this was NOT you please visit: https://lloyds.alert-mobile-login.com I presume this is a phishing SMS to get my details.
