Medical Phone calls
Very plausible scammer call, state from NHS, asking for covid vaccination details & reassuring GP would write to arrange boosters hots. Asked about vaccination side effects then "not all booster side effects are covered by NHS, so do you have medical cover cover". telephoner was better pre-written & more plausible than the average scammer call. Strongly suggest nobody provides any more personal details than they know, which in my case was my name & telephone number.
My elderly parents have been receiving many call of late, in the main regarding pensions, PPI, medical negligence & the recent collision they have suffered - not. The most frequent being 01902 281404 a local number. I should also add that they asked to talk to a Mr or Mrs CROW, needless to say this is not our family name. Through my work I was able to trace the company to Virgo home improvements.
Seems to be used for some telesales ring center - this range of numbers 19022814xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly has reported with pensions, PPI, medical negligence & recent car accident. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they ring you with the same or something new?
This numbers has called a numbers of times asking to talk to a Mr. Jackson. I am not Mr. Jackson & have told them all so politely. I have asked to be removed of lists but to no avail. They are trying to push various medical / injury / claim cover products. DO NOT ANSWER
Apparently someone has given our No to opt into Health Concern Medical Services - We advised them that this is the incorrect No & they said they would remove it from their system but they have it at various other ring centres & we would have to ring them all!! Then they hang up. I called again & advised them that as we have not opted in we have the right to have our No removed still got no help!!! Report to BT as annoyance ring
