Doctor Phone calls
scammer telephoner identified myself by name & claim to be from my Doctor’s surgery - this was not the case. telephoner claim if was with reference to my knee injury - I have not sustained a knee injury. This was obviously an attempt to to use personal info to gain trust through deception & then advantage of some kind. I hang up before that was possible.
Called while in the doctors surgery politely answered & tell the telephoner where I was & to ring back in half an hour. The person on the other side rudely said no they will not ring back & wajted to continue with the ring there & then in the middle f a consultancy. I hang up I was so anoyed as I only answeredcout of politeness. I will be blocker this telephoner who ever they are.
01932 area code is my home telephone area, & they called on my mobile, they asked for myself by name, all I can suggest is the telephone company is giving them my address area so they can pester me, by myself answering thinking it is an important call, eg. my kids school, doctor, someone I know. I resent this, & they will not get anywhere even if they con you in to answering, so wasting their time, anyway they wanted to know had I had an collision in last three years.
