Tax Phone calls
This is the HM Revenue and Customs Corporation Tax arrears Management Team. Not sure why people are saying they are scammers. I received a letter from HM Revenue and Customs regarding Corporation Tax that I knew was outstanding & this was a ring regarding that.
The guy has phoned two times now asking to talk to the Head of Finance, they initially said they was from HMRC, then said they worked on behalf of HM Revenue and Customs & wanted to off their services in the calculation, submission & ensure timely money sent of Corporation Tax to HMR
Did not answer as was working but did not leave a message either this is the fourth time I have had a no call each time different nos the first 2 said they where from HMS tax fraud & wanted myself to press no one to continue which I did not when I googled tax fraud they said that they don’t normally call & if they do will leave a case no which both call did not this is getting very disturbing
scammer Answered & automatic message saying that it is HM Revenue and Customs & that there is a tax fraud claim against myself & I need to press option one to be connected to the head at HMRC. It said that if I didn't press one now a warrant would be issued. I disconnected the ring & added it to my blocked numbers.
It was a pre-recorded message saying that a Tax fraud was registered under my name. I received a alike ring some months ago with the same message & when I checked the telephone numbers it came up as a scam. I imagine that now they changed numbers & they are using this one. Be careful.
