Genuine Phone calls
Has called my mobile every day for the last 4 days but never leaves a voicemail so guessed not a genuine caller and didnt answer any of the calls. Have now blocked the number
received a call advising payments needed to be authorised from an account - stayed on the call but when I asked what account name was affected I was asked for my name and I advised that I needed to know that the call was genuine and what name they had for the account that had prompted the call to us in the first place. They hung up. Bad phone line - crackly - foreign accent.
It is frustrating to get a call from a number you don't know is from a legitimate caller but I worry that it is a scammer call. I wish there was a way to tell if I should answer or not.

I may have been targeted by a scam when I received a hang-up call after absentmindedly answering the phone.
