Fraudsters claiming to be from Virgin Media say they need to access my PC to fix a problem.
Fraudsters putting on to be bank security (no mention of which bank!) calling about suspicious transactions using my card pretending to be from the bank.
A ring automatic goes on.
A scammer is a person who uses deception or fraud to take advantage of someone.
I don't know anyone or expect a ring from Manchester. As they haven't called back, I'm assuming it was an annoyance ring.

I would not give my credible answer if asian lady company cover review did not give me an answer. Itold her they were ascammer they terminated the ring.
My wife was contacted by a call using this number. They were told that the telephoner worked for a company called Cover Review Ltd. They were asked to provide information relating to her life cover policy so her policy could be upgraded. Suspecting a scam, no details were given and they contacted her cover company
After I said I never had life insurance, they put my telephone down and my details in a file.
A telephoner refused to tell me why they were calling, and there was a lot of background noise. The telephoner even started by saying it was his birthday today. The idiot
