10:08 on a Friday morning, called our landline. pre-recorded or AI message (ostensibly a well-spoken British female) said: "This is Visa credit card department. Your credit card has been debited £500 via Amazon or ebay. If you did not make this purchase, press 1, or press two to proceed," I said & pressed nothing & the ring disconnected a few seconds later.
Offering discount on current O2 plans, but doesn't have access to O2 account details, so his ability to follow through seems suspicious.
Allegedly calling from Amazon. Poor command of English language.
Phoned, went inaudible then just hung up, just be careful.
