The lady on the phone, who sounded American, confirmed my mother's home address and then said I had a cash voucher. When I explained that I didn't stay here, she went quiet. I hung up.

The person on the phone would not identify themselves or say what the call was about when I answered. They asked about the phone contract, address of the property, and name of account holder. They would not say who they were or why they were calling, and hung up when I refused.

A person with an American accent called saying we had won a £50 voucher for shopping at Asda, Morrisons or Tesco. They had our previous address so I gave them our current address details. When pressed, they gave their name as Rachael Carter of Unicare.
