After checking the 'Who called me?' site & reading the reviews, did not call the numbers repeatedly from a 'number withheld' telephone intending to string them along & then laugh at them, but the phone line is constantly engaged. Do they have a chance & gone away?

I had the RED PAGE and called the numbers, all seemed plausible until the request for money sent, then I fell in and hung up. Tried calling the numbers next day, but the numbers were invalid! Same for 01624891414, they had called me back on the phone the previous day

To close the message down without having to reopen your computer: Press CTRL-ALT-DEL, choose the Task Manager option, & then select the programme you want to close down, such as Firefox, Chrome, Explorer etc.

I saw a red alert screen pop up on my computer. I was slightly alarmed, but thought I would click on something dangerous. I read the whole message, but was straight away alerted to the fact that they cannot spell "response" - at the foot of the message it is spelt "responce".

Do not try to call these numbers! They are complete scams and will only try to get you to ring their number. Instead, press Ctrl+Alt+Del on your computer to open task manager and then go to Chrome or Explorer or wherever this "critical" message came up on. Right click on the programme
