supposedly to be representing EE, asking for my email to verify account to drop my bill 25%, refused to give info when I pried further.
It was a telephone upgrade scam, they are putting on to be EE Network.
Came up as a 5 for some reason. It's just the Bedford office number.
A caller, possibly from abroad & reading from a script, claim to be from Incontrol, a Jaguar/Land Rover care center. They mentioned an alert triggered by my car & left a message, stating there was no need to ring back if the car was safe. It's advised to independently verify such call & information, especially if they involve personal or vehicle details, to ensure the legitimacy of the communication & prevent potential scams or unauthorized access.
supposedly they was from a mobile network & that my account was expiring soon, & needed to update credit card details for payment. My contract still has 8 more months, so this was lies.
person with foreign accent introduced himself as Mark & said they was calling from Microsoft about my computer. Asked if I was the main user of the computer, but hang up on myself when I didn't give the response they was expecting (probably didn't match his script). I refuse to say Yes or No in call (whenever possible) in case they are recording the ring & use it against me. I strongly believe this was a scammer call.
Said they were an 'Independent Survey' company calling to do a 2min survey on Mid Bedfordshire, however when I asked for the company name & more details they hang up
supposedly that my internet has been used for illegal purposes & is about to be turned off. Total con as my mobile numbers is in no way linked to my internet. I suggest the only illegality going on here is the actions of the criminals running this numbers

This is not a real omicron alert. It asks you to submit information for the Covid test asking for credit card details for £1.99 charge for the Covid test delivery. The Covid alert would not ask for this.
I answered the phone, and it rang just as I was about to put it to music. Then, annoyingly, it started ringing again.
The sentence is said with the National Health Service and Covid-19.
