I had a ring from this number saying it was Amazon and a stop had been put on my account for goods to be worth £700. The usual guff press button etc. I hung up straightaway & went & signed in on my Amazon account. All was fine!

The foreign person said they were from Amazon calling from Grays Mobile, a flesh telephone company associated with Carphone Warehouse. When asked where they got my numbers from, they said they calling numbers ramdomly then hung up. I have blocked numbers and has reported as spam.

Received a message from WhatsApp from this number to be from someone who was my child who had broken their telephone and taken it to a shop to be fixed and the shop had loaned them a telephone in the meantime with this number. Definitely not from anyone in my family who is my child.

This was a pre-recorded message saying that my broadband was being turned off due to illegal activity. When it said to press 1 on my telephone I hung up.This obviously is a annoyance call. I had the same type of ring last week early in the morning but didn't check callers numbering that one

It seems that the phone call they made before I could put it down was a scam. The phoneline seems to have been filled with clicks, and I suspect that a spoofed number actually came from abroad. Be careful when using phone numbers in Scotland.
