Received a message via WhatsApp from this numbers state to be from someone who was my child who had broken their telephone and taken it to a shop to be fixed and the shop had loaned them a telephone in the meantime with this number. Definitely not from anyone in my family who is my child.

This was a prerecorded message saying that my broadband was being turned off due to illegal activity. When it said to press 1 on my telephone I hung up. This obviously is a annoyance call. I had the same type of ring last week early in the morning but didn't check callers numbering that one.

I was shocked when I heard that they called off before I could put it down. I didn't hear any Scottish accents on the phone, and there were a lot of clicks on the phoneline. I suspect that the phone number is actually from abroad. Be careful if you receive a phone call from this number
