Received a message from WhatsApp from this phone number to be from someone who was my child who had broken their telephone and taken it to a shop to be fixed and the shop had loaned them a telephone in the meantime with this number. Definitely not from anyone in my family who is my child.

I thought the call I received from them seemed to be a scam, when I said that they phoned off before I could put it down. However, I did not hear any Scottish accents in the call, and there were a lot of clicks on the phone line so I suspect it was a spoofed number
