Called & I did not answer but it went to voice mail & sounded like a ring centre background noise. So have blocked now.

Cleared as soon as my answer machine kicked in. A scammer or cold call. Either way it's someone who doesn't obey the TPS. Block them.

Telephone rang this morning, they said they had gotten our telephone numbers from Hospital and GP. Tried to get us to sign up for new Red button ring out alarm as landlines are to be closed down. We terminated the ring when they started asking what bank we used.
The sound of a ring center in the background hung up on me.
They said they were Amazon, but Amazon don't have my home telephone numbers. I hang up as I think it's a scammer.

This number called my Nan today and tried to claim they were Amazon and she'd ordered an iPhone 11, luckily my Nan wasn't silly to fall for this but more vulnerable elderly people might have been fooled by the number that called.
