I also got that call. It sounded like Peco Electrics, but it wasn't clear. They couldn't say where they got my numbers from, but after a short time into the ring I insisted on knowing what was the real annual cost. They responded after a free 14 days, 99p PER DAY

The scammer said I was old enough to get a free medic alert. But never actually got round to saying there would be a monthly charge. I said as BT was changing all the phones they wouldn't be useable, and put the telephone down.
