Answered ring at 5.45pm. was turned off after 2/3 seconds.
A foreign voice calling himself Kelvin Jones from Microsoft. My computer has been hacked. Left the phone before they got his hands on it. When called back, an American voice from the phone line compliance service who couldn't answer the call.

When I got to the telephone, the telephoner called off. I dialled 1471 and attempted to call back twice, but no one answered - just silence at the other end.

I have no idea who rings from this phone number, all calls go onto my answer machine and no message is ever left.
They did not leave a message, but they have done it before and they are exactly the same number. I did not answer because I did not recognise the number.

Do not be fooled by the scam, says the person they are from is from royal mail.
This morning, I called a 0950 number and the telephoner said they were from BT but their accent was so difficult to decipher, I told them I couldn't make sense of them. They ended the call. I think it may have been a scammer.
Though it seems to suggest that the number is a scam, I have yet to determine if it is actually a banking fraud scammer. It might be an automated call, offering you the opportunity to talk with someone who supposedly works for your bank. It's likely that the caller is trying to gather information or flee
Someone called me from this numbers saying that my National cover numbers would be cancelled if I did not confirm something. I just got curious to find out what that was all about & pressed 1 of the options, but the connection was so poor that the person who picked the telephone up 1 the other side just hung up
SMS received from the above numbers inviting telephoner to join a watsapp group for a care home(link was included), it was touted as a personal group but no name given.
