putting on to be From Domestic & General regarding my home appliance insurance, a policy which I cancelled many years ago.
This company, Tinder Miner, is a scammer that has stolen a large sum of money from people all over the globe.
This number called itself twice on the same day. It went to answer the phone but no message came back.
There is no way to scam someone without leaving a message or providing an idea.
This is a compare the networks.com website pretty consistent at calling . I am a sole trader.
I am not aware I ever paid a subscription to Amazon, and I am worried this is a scam. I saw an automated message on my phone saying my subscription for £79.99 would be automatically renewed, and I decided to press one to cancel. I put the phone down before pressing. Please advise.

A person voice is heard about internet connections in an difficult accent. So far, it seems merely an annoyance, but since the ring has no other apparent purpose, I suspect a criminal motive.

I have never called continuously and the one time I answered the phone nobody on the other line replied.

Asian person - Amazon Credit credit card scammer - a new scam threat
A person knew my name, said they were from Amazon, and could I confirm that I had just bought an item from Amazon in the sum of £49.50. I said I did not believe they were from Amazon, and this was a scammer. They straight away hung up - guilty as charged?
Did my wife ask why they wanted to learn new information?
The scammer has started a scam by saying that someone has purchased an Amazon gift in my name. When I say I don't have Amazon, they say yes but you will be charged. So I want to go ahead with the purchase?
I did not answer the call because I did not recognise the numbers and did not have my answer service on, so I did not answer the call. My answer service kicked in and there was no message left on the phone. I traced the call and called the numbers back, but the phoneline did not ring
When I called back the call out was only number.
The telephoner not answered, leaving a message asking for another number.
Mrs answered, person said How are you today, they said fine, they hung up.
