Offering to do a free survey for home insulation. Vaguely quoting media (BBC, on the TV etc) to support their claim but unable or unwilling to provide a company name. Using scare tactics (implication: your property may be suffering serious damp that may need to be rectified urgently). Likely & attempt to get a foothold into the property in order scare & pressure the owner into expensive works. Got ring despite being on TPS.

They called me, I never picked up, when I re-dailed, they said they did not call, they had only just got back from holiday & they thought this had happened once before, I thought it odd so have now blocked the number, they are in the same area code as myself so would have understood if they had called incorrect numbers
