After a long pause, the Asian sounding person claimed to be from an internet service provider and told herself she had been getting a slow internet fluctuation but it was a very bad telephone phoneline and it was difficult to make sense her and eventually they terminated the call.

The telephone rang from this number and it said it was from Amazon prime to update your subscription but you have to click on a numbers to connect which I did not as I am not an Amazon prime customer. So I suspect it is a scam.

I thought this was a scam, trying to hack my telephone when I received a text message purporting to be from British Gas telling me to SMS my meter readings in a very odd way. I think this is a scam, because the text message seems to be coming from a phone that has been hacked.
