A foreign gentleman state that he is calling from Centrica in Chicago, Illinois. It is quite why Centrica would be calling me from Illinois is a bit of a mystery. I told them to write to me & the telephone went dead, so most likely a scammer call.

A foreign person on a clearly scammed local phone number told me their IP address had been scammed. I then installed Quick support on my iPhone and reported the results back to them. I didn't know but kept her off some other poor soul for 6 minutes. It was really bad.

I am the police; and it was a criminal offense for me to be driving while committing an infraction. I was also very wary of scams that could steal a lot of money if I pressed the number. However, I am not sure if the number is legitimate.
