Another cold caller in Birmingham.
Answered ring at 5.45pm. inaudible for 2/3 seconds, then turned off.
A foreign voice calling himself Kelvin Jones from Microsoft. My pc has been hacked. Left ring before they got his hands on my system. When called back, an American voice from on phoneline compliance service who could not answer the call.
Robocalling is a new way to call someone.

I don't know who rings from this phone number all the time, and no message is ever left on my answer machine.
They did not leave a message, but they have called & done the same thing before. I did not answer because I did not recognise the number.
Telephone ring claims from Amazon with automatic voice saying you have made a purchase for £700 and press 1 to talk to someone to authorise it. If you don't answer, the scammer will say they've reached you and ask for your money.
Telephoning with a foreign accent, the person said they were from BT and they needed to follow some instructions before they could call from a BT number. When I asked why they weren't calling from a BT number or why the filter wasn't being delivered, the person hung up. I ordered a DSL filter
