A foreign voice calling himself Kelvin Jones from Microsoft. My pc was hacked. Left the phone before they got his hands on it. When called back, an American voice from the phone line compliance service could not answer the call.

Telephone ring claims from Amazon with automatic voice saying you have made a purchase for £700 and press 1 to talk to someone to authorise it. If you don't want to talk to someone, you can press 1 to stop the call.

Telephone with a foreign accent said they were from BT, and they needed to follow some instructions before they could call from a BT number. I asked why they weren't calling from an official BT number, and they hung up when I asked. I ordered a DSL filter from Amazon, which was delivered yesterday.

Someone called me from this number saying that my National cover numbers would be cancelled if I did not confirm something. I just got curious to find out what that was all about & pressed 1 of the options, but the connection was so poor that the person who picked the telephone up 1 the other side just hung up

I've had numerous annoyance calls today from my home telephone and mobile phone, as well as from a foreign lady who asked me questions about my age bracket when I queried why they hung up. I believe this is some kind of scammer ring, as the calls seem to be coming from a random number.
