This morning, I called a 0950 number and the person on the other end said they were from BT but their accent was so difficult to decipher that I told them I couldn't make sense of them and they ended the call. I think it was a scammer.

Someone called me from this phone number saying that my National cover numbers would be cancelled if I did not confirm something. I just got curious to find out what that was all about & pressed 1 of the options, but the connection was so poor that the person who picked the telephone up 1 the other side just hung

I've had numerous annoyance calls today from both my home phone and my mobile phone. Betty, the foreign lady finally spoke to me, asked me 4 questions, and wanted my age bracket when I queried why they hung up. I believe this is some kind of scammer ring, at worst at best.
