The callers numbers looked like a local call. I let the ring go to the answering machine. An automatic message said that unusual activity had taken place on my credit card - £300 to Amazon & £1100 to a money transfer website. Press one to cancel or press two to talk to the support team.

Says they are calling from Sky phone & tv maintenance refund department. Not with Sky but they informed myself that Sky control all the phone lines in the UK. hang up when I started laughing.

We have a problem with our meter, which they haven't. Asking lots of info about our bill, & meter readings, meter reference codes etc. Info That they should already know anyway. Tell them nothing. Tried to call 4 times this year so far, but haven't had any luck.

Please disregard my home telephone number or better yet block it so they wont ring you again. That way they wont be able to get past your security measures and you will be able to receive calls from this number only if you answer them. If you leave abusive messages, I may be held liable under the telecommunications act
