1 of the several "HMRC" call originating from "Bolton" was received. However, it's worth noting that Bolton does not have an Inland Revenue office.

Purporting to be associated with the National Health Service & 'my details were passed on by Plymouth Hospitals NHS'. The telephoner was called Nicola, & was a timewaster purely a promotion call. I hadn't asked her to ring myself so I just put the telephone down.

telephoner phoned asking to talk to the companies Managing Director or Sales Director, didn't know the name of either of them just wanted to talk to someone but wouldn't give a reason why. Informed the telephoner they were working from home & couldn't be reached by telephone, email only. telephoner replied that they are working with the National Health Service & are unable to dispatch unrequested emails apparently.

Scammer call This is a scammer call.
Scam call claiming to be from HMRC is a common ploy to get money from unsuspecting victims.
I was told that there was a fraud on my name and I needed to press 1 to prove it.
If I didn't press 1 to talk to them, I would be arrested shortly if I said I was being investigated for fraud.
After picking up the phone, I rang back but didn't answer.
Apparently, the MHRC has issued an arrest warrant for the person mentioned.

I pretended to be the IRS and strong sub continent accent Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh Pakistan, Nepal etc. I rang my mobile. I am not American and don't know what a crosswalk is.
