After googling the numbers I’ve discovered the numbers is used for all sorts from HM Revenue and Customs tax refund, offering alarm pendants to the elderly, sell health cover & sell windows…none of which you’ll actually receive! I put the telephone down, but my telephone wouldn't click off, & could still hear the other callers in the background. We are with TPS, are ex directory, & with BT ring Blocker. I have now blocked the number.

Not really sure, as I didn't pick up. But I received another ring yesterday from this area code & it was from Scottish Power trying to get myself to install a Smart meter. I am registered with the phone Preference Service, so rarely pick up the phone for anyone not on my contact list.
